The narrator kept trying to prop up the danger and violence without giving much context or further explanation. Obviously, drug dealing was the source of any violence, but the lack of further explanation suggested to me that the really violent episodes were pretty scarce.
Don't get me wrong, I don't condone any of this crap, but I think the "war on drugs" is one of the bigger farces in this country.
Plus, the take down after the funeral seemed ****ing chickenshit to me.
