Oh, mine will keep going until I stop throwing it. Well, one of them will, the other knows when its time to shut it down. I've had to tell friends to stop throwing them before because I genuinely believe that Patton would kill himself chasing tennis balls.
But it only takes about 15 minutes to get them to calm down for the evening. They'll still drop ropes in my lap and they'll definitely play if I want to, but they're significantly less ornery with just a little bit of exercise.

The mental stimulation wears off as soon as its done. When the walk's over, they're bored again. My boys run inside, get a drink and go right downstairs to find something to play with. If they're not tired at that point, they're gonna start screwing with stuff.
