I don't see it as an "insult" to Kansas City or the Chiefs at all, it's simply that there IS NOTHING ELSE to "throw back" to.

I mean, we could trot out some ancient cleats and possibly the helmets from the late 60's/70's with the ULTRA HUGE Arrowhead on them, but the footwear would slow the guys down, and those old helmets would probably get them killed in today's game!
