I think my favorite straight "ROCK" bank is Seether. First album came out in 2000. I really like their stuff.

(Please note, I live in BFE and haven't even heard of some of these guys)

I think my favorite band of the 2000's is Taking Back Sunday. But I don't know if you qualify them as rock.
