If they're considered in this decade, I agree.
I'll throw in for Arcade Fire, just because I think that THEY think they're the best in the decade which is both hilarious and appealing. TV on the Radio would also be important. White Stripes did a lot for re-popularizing a gritty, garage sound and bringing the blues back into rock. They're borderline from last decade, though, I think.
It's funny to see different people's opinions of what is considered "rock" music. I'm not sure what I consider Korn, SlipKnot and bands like that.... but rock just doesn't seem right to me. My tastes tend to run more toward diverse, alternative artists than the metal side of rock, though.
