I agree with you up to a point, although, on the other hand, I'm not sure that "attachment" (aka "meaningful sex") is necessarily a bad thing. As long as you attach first, and then have sex. The problem is when the sex comes early and the attachment grows out of it. And if you go too far the other way, sex becomes an animal act devoid of intimacy.

Not really an easy answer here.
