Day one of a long term seige of sacrifice that ends in flames anyway despite all the efforts you make for a decade or more leaving you with little to show for it but a huge gaping hole in your heart, spirit, and soul, your finances shot to hell, and any children you might have had looking at you saying, "Why, Daddy, why???
