Be sure to say "thanks" to the men and women who served in the armed forces, despite if you support or don't support the wars. Even if you don't know a person, and say he/she is wearing a military uniform/hat, etc, take a few seconds out of your busy schedule, and ask if they served. If they didn't, apologize and move on. If they did, tell them, thank you, and continue back to your daily busy schedule.
It's the honorable thing to do.
