But for a coach, the "jump the shark" moment is always when they turn into a soundbite. Denny Green with his, "They are who we thought they were!" Hermie with his, "You play to win the game!" The infamous Mora the Elder with his, "Playoffs? Playoffs?!?"
Not sure what you've got there with Haley. He's paid his dues, that's for sure (unlike McDaniels up in Denver who fast-tracked it). But I'm all for giving someone new a shot and not just digging up an old re-tread of a coach...
