I rest my case. Beware of the effect on your daughter who may seek older men in an attempt to emulate the behaviour of a father that I hope she respects and admires.
Eighteen is a vulnerable age for a young lady who has had a good relationship with her father and may someday seek a husband with traits resembling "dear old dad's". God forbid she shies away from erstwhile superior candidates for fear that her mate, like her father, will someday molest his children or grandchildren.
