Eschewing the arrow theory, I think I've had that sort of thing before, and it eventually goes away without explanation. I've not had it often, and it's been minor, though, not debilitating but rather just a little distracting.
If it was an aneurysm, I think it would be excruciating pain. At least, that's what I've heard.
