"how a lot of us "normal" people might handle being one of the biggest idols" ... "A lot of pretty top notch women would be continuously testing our resolve." ... "It happens" doesn't really conjure up thoughts of picking up a waitress at Dave and Busters.
Dealing with fame would be dealing with the peer pressure to go to strip clubs and night clubs and so forth, being treated like a king in VIP rooms while constantly being surrounded by the beautiful people.
That said, I think
a lot of happily married athletes/celebrities would be insulted at the idea that fame and/or money and/or tons of attention are excuses to cheat on your spouse, and in his case, potentially ruin a family with kids.
If it's true they met at Dave and Busters, I don't see Steve McNair thinking "OMG, I can't take the pressure any longer".... it makes me think he gave into the pressure a long time ago, and is just now getting caught.
