This story has kind of good timing for me. I went to a place in eastern PA that is, and I quote, "known for their ribs". We ordered a full rack and they were deep fried like wings and covered in BBQ sauce.

It was a joke.

I really don't know why I haven't bought a smoker yet with all the recipes I have access to on CP.
