New coach, new QB, new defensive scheme. This is what preseason is for. Everyone step back from the ledge. Detroit went 4-0 last preseason, then 0-16. The year before, the Pats were a ho-hum 2-2 in preseason, then went 16-0.
This weekend, Oakland beat Dallas, the Rams beat the Jets, Minnesota beat Indy, the Lions beat Atlanta, and Seattle beat San Diego. Trust me, those winning teams shouldn't be printing Super Bowl tickets, and the losing ones probably aren't looking ahead to the '10 Draft already.

I'm not wrapped up in the overall wins/losses in the preseason, but am more interested in how the starters match up.
Our defensive starters couldn't stop Houston's 1st or 2nd offensive unit.
Meanwhile, our offensive starters didn't move the ball against Houston's 1st or 2nd defensive unit.
With the exception of Bowe, who was running against 2nd/3rd teamers, none of the guys that will playing regularly on Sundays looked promising.
Hopefully, that changes by September.
