Depends what kind of team you are building. I don't like Orton at all, but I'll say this for him, he's shown the moxie in the past of being able to win games with the Bears, so in that sense he's a bit more of a proven commodity that Thigpen. But I don't think he's better than Cassel or brings anything more to the table. Thigpen, while pretty inconsistent last year, has shown flashes and brings that different element to the table, but I'm not real enamored with him either. He's fallen down to third string this offseason thus far, so how much does he really want it? Seems to me like he may have just resigned himself or settled with the fact that he was going to be a backup and didn't come into the preseason program ready to compete. Not sure if that's the guy I want leading the team...
