As the #3 option, I would rather have the raw player with upside than a guy who has maxed out his potential.

O'Connell and Guttierrez are better set to run a pro offense now. But their upside is that they'll be a borderline #2-#3 string at best and good chance they aren't in the NFL at all in a few years.
