I used to work security for concerts and well, errrrrrrr, Broncos and Colorado Buffs games. I did that for five years and I can tell you I never took anyone's liquor unless they were not old enough. I didn't work the shows and events like the other azzholes. I understood people paid good money to see a show and I gave them the benefit of the doubt every time. Once they crossed that line with me though, it was a different story. It was a lot of fun- got to see NFL games, college football games, and some of the best artists perform- all for free. Scored free booze, women, and all kinds of stories. It was fun most of the time, but when azzholes treated me like shit- then I simply walked them out of the arena, stadium, or whatever venue we were in.
Most of the guys I worked with were azzholes- but a lot of the folks did it for the same reason I did- the love for music and sports. And when you worked for that, it was fun. I suppose it's like the good cop/bad cop thing.
