Twas the night beofre the Raiders
And all through the house
I was screaming and cursing
And scaring My spouse
The TV and Tivo were set for the game
In hopes that Cassel and Flowers weren't lame
This night I would go to my bed
With dreams of a Chiefs win in my head
But concern that a win would be hard
And Raider fans would call me a 'tard
When friends ask "What does it matter?"
My angered response causes them to scatter
"Away from the crazy man" they say
We'll just wait to talk to him another day
I can not say how happy I'll be
If the Chiefs just win, even just by three
7 points, 10 points, 13 points or more
Would have me floating off the floor
Todd Haley must find the tools
To put a hurtin' on those fools
Cassel, or Croyle, must hit some passes
And the defens has to pound some asses
When the game is over, and the Chiefs have won
We can all drink and party, and have some fun
Then as the day continoes to pass
We can all exclaim "We beat that ass".
