I haven't been emotionally invested in the Chiefs since the playoff loss at the end of the '03 season. I'll turn a game off if it's too ugly, or if I'm getting pissed off. It's just not worth it. I mean, shit, they're a bad team, we know they're a bad team. What's the point in getting bent out of shape? Ain't gonna change the outcome. Only thing it does is ruin my day.

Life is so much better.

Hell, I can even say something crazy like "sucks to lose, but today's game was a huge improvement over last week's - 400 yards of offense? less than 175 yards allowed on defense?? - they keep getting better from week to week like this, cut down on the penalties and mistakes (all unforced errors...) and they'll be respectable by the season's end".
