AJ was raised in the Bills Polian era. Polian figured out how to win one in Indy. Now it's AJ's turn in SD. Both guys know how to build a franchise.
Chief fans have plenty to worry about besides the Chargers. We'll see how Polian does on his own. It'll take a few years to see any results.

No Chiefs fan has ever taken the Chargers seriously. And we won't start now. AJ Smith brought in some fantastic talent, and then proceeded to make 2 of the WORST head coaching decisions he could possibly make.
Marty has NEVER gotten over the hump. At all. Period. Then when he realized that and fired him off of a 14-2 season, lulz, he hired Norv Turner.
Yeah. That Norv Turner.
Now, lo and behold your team has the great distinction that they were once the greatest team to never make the playoffs. As long as Norv Turner is your coach, that will be a continuing theme (great year, last year) and when AJ finally wakes up and figures it out, the rest of your team will be old and broken down just like LT.
