I don't know how I can make myself any clearer. While Flacco may have been more of a game manager last year he and Ryan had things like pocket presence and field awareness that Sanchez clearly does not have. It's like trying to teach a running back vision. It's not possible. Sanchez wasn't even aware he was running around in the end zone yesterday. That's something guy should be aware of pre-snap. He never felt people around him and seems to lack some of the very important instincts that both Flacco and Ryan showed even as rookies. Sanchez could end up being a decent QB one day but he's always going to have a problem with ball control (he's been a fumbling machine so far and I don't know of a single QB that really ever corrects that, look at Dave Krieg and Culpepper) and pocket presence. Right now we'd still be 0-4 but look even less competitive if Sanchez were on this team starting.
