I find this stuff facinating too. Evolution, of course, doesn't just occur in humans. Imagine what all the other crazy animals would look like in an atmosphere that had, say 1/3 the gravity of earth and 10 % less oxygen. Or, a planet of 90% water, or all steep mountain ranges. The possibilities are endless.
