You have to do the math -- they list $11.25M as his total bonuses over the first two years, and his first two base salaries in that table add up to $16.25M -- but $28M is the total.
If that info there is accurate, he's also got a nice roster bonus due in 2011 -- year three -- which would be an incentive towards parting ways if he's not earning his money.

I've been looking for the link, but that info is contradictory to what I read from Jason LaConfora of NFLN.
He said that Cassel was earning over $16M in 2009, and that doesn't jive with the numbers AP came up with.
That would mean he's earning $12M in 2010, but AP is showing him getting just shy of that amount in base, not counting bonuses.
Regardless, I'm standing by my claim. He'll be here in 2011, even if he plays bad in 2009/2010.
