I didn't want Gholston. I tried to bring up his inconsistency in college and was told I was a reerun, which may be true - but for other reasons. I didn't want Sanchez because I thought it was pretty clear that Pioli was going to go with Cassel come hell or highwater.
I would have drafted Curry. I understood why some people wanted Smith or Monroe.
I gave KC a draft grade of C-. I didn't like ignoring the OL and thought rounds 3-7 were pretty bad. I can rationalize the Jackson pick now that I see Pioli wanted to move into a 3-4 immediately rather than transition slowly through a 43 under. I still think Curry's a better LB than Jackson a 34 DE. I would have went with OL and pass rushers for most of the 2nd day of the draft.
