With the stock market nearly doubling since shortly after Obama took office, I'd say the economy is showing it's potential before the Chiefs. Of couse, I think the crazed pessimism towards both by some is generally from the rather ill-informed and hyperventialtion crowd.
I expect steady improvement for both in the next 12-18 months. The economy has a head start, but the Chiefs could make the sudden and quicker turn around at any point, I think.
