Meredith checks out on the field. He isn't an injury case. He is cut and in great shape, so its not a motivational issue. I really don't know. I've read some comments like "locker room lawyer" that made me scratch my head... there is SOMETHING out there. I just can only guess what it is.
This isn't Darryl Harris where nobody knows who he is. Every NFL team has known who Meredith was since he started as a Freshman.

Locker room lawyer - always stirring the pot in the negative way on the team. Defending the undefensable especially with authority figures. And it could be as simple as drugs and alcohol.
