As someone rooting for the Chargers I wouldn't be the least bit surprised to see KC win. Chargers are coming off a short week where road teams usually lose. They're starting the game at 10 am pacific time, a starting time where west teams traditionally struggle. I think it's been 2 years since the Chargers have won an early game in the midwest or east coast. And lastly, they're playing in KC a place where all division opponents traditionally have a hard time.
Put all that together with the fact that they can't stop the run, can't run the ball, and struggle to protect the QB, and I think KC has a great chance for a home win.
