Yup. Informed decision.
The article was written about former NFL players. Not former high school players.
So yes, the professional players in the NFL, even Collegiate level players, know damn well that they are playing a dangerous sport with possibly life altering opportunities for injury.
I understand where you are coming from though. We didn't play in high school for a paycheck or a scholarship. We played because we wanted to... and the girls.
