Chiefs ban Larry Johnson from team activities
The Chiefs have ordered Larry Johnson to refrain from team activities until their investigation of his Twitter conduct is concluded.
The Chiefs will hold a news conference Tuesday afternoon to address the comments made by Johnson on Twitter Sunday night. LJ has released a statement through his agent, apologizing to Todd Haley, the Chiefs, and the NFL. It rings hollow, however, when he says his intent was not to offend anyone even though he used a gay slur and belittled his head coach.
