I'm not an astronomer. I'm not a scientist. I'm not a physical science major.
My point is, we don't know that everything around us is not an illusion. It could be. But there is no evidence to suggest it is. So it's unreasonable to suggest that it probably is. Because it probably isn't. Same thing with aliens coming here, or us being aliens to natives of another solar system. Why would you think or believe in aliens coming here? Why would you say the government knows about it but is hiding it?
It is unreasonable to think that aliens have come to earth. It is unreasonable to think that we will go to another solar system. Could we? Yes. It would take something we have no evidence of even remotely attaining. Could we be an illusion? Yes. But to prove this, it would take something we have no evidence of.
Most people who think aliens have come or can come think they have really fast spaceships and are pale with big heads.
Think of a spaceship going 200,000 mph through space and hitting a meteor. What would happen?
