I respectfully disagree with this. Cardio is great for building muscle, especially HIIT. It increases blood delivery all over the body and to the muscles, and helps in building muscle. If you're doing 20-25 minutes of HIIT, it's hardly enough to inhibit muscle growth. Now, if you were training for a marathon, I'd totally agree. But half an hour a day is going to help way more than it will hurt.
