This is exactly the case. Said it at the time he dumped Chan. It was very easy to see.

THat was one of the most non-sensical decisions Haley has made...and there is a loooong list of weird decisions. Yes, he's a rookie head coach, so I expect some dumb decisions, but piling on your responsibilities as the OC AND QB coach AND head coach was just plain stupid. Hopefully they'll get an OC and QB coach next season. It's just too much to ask of a seasoned veteran coach, let alone a rookie like Haley...
