I just don't see Mays and McClain being top 10 prospects. If you combined the two of them, you'd have a great player.
McClain - good downhill linebacker who wraps up very well and can shed blocks. I don't see much sideline to sideline speed or agility and don't think he'd be very good in pass protection.
Mays - great athlete, but only a "good" player. I dislike taking defensive players in the top 4 rounds who aren't good tacklers in college. Mays is not a good tackler and his ball awareness (when not in front of him) is questionable.
I don't think I've seen a single Maryland game this year, so I can't comment on Campbell being in the top 10.
