I'll dumb it down for you:
When Matt Cassel has a good game statistically (according to the QB rating), it is because he made those stats in garbage time.
But when I try and make a point that Tyler Thigpen had the worst game I've ever seen from a QB, someone tries to refute MY OPINION by posting a QB rating of Matt Cassel this year.
I live in Illinois, I've seen Rex Grossman put up a 0.0 QB rating. Even that game was better than the game Tyler Thigpen had last year against the Falcons.
Matt Schaub threw a pick yesterday that bounced off of Jacoby Jones' hands...I'm pretty sure that goes against his QB rating, not Jones' WR rating.
Again...QB rating can give you an idea, but it doesn't necessarily paint an accurate picture.
I guess everyone forgets Huard and his 100 QB rating in 2006.
