Numbers for QBs in today's NFL are misleading.

Trent Green had multiple 4000 yard seasons, but he was never more than a game manager.

I'd have to look up the numbers, but I don't believe that Montana ever had a 4000 yard season, and he was the absolute epidome of franchise QB.
