If we are talking strictly muscle building carbs/protein not so much, depends on which processed food really. A lot of processed food is just empty calories so in that ase it would make a huge difference. In this case there are a lot of toxic substances in canned soup and they vary. MSG is horrible for you and food processors have labeled it differently to keep you from knowing it is in there. It is a a flavor enhancer so you can see why they would use it.
