I agree about Step Brothers, I'll stop and watch some of that film every couple of days when it pops up on Starz, however Pineapple Express just didn't do it for me. I think part of the problem with the newer comedies is the over use of the F word. If I look back at some of my favorites such as Raising Arizona, Caddy Shack, Animal House and Airplane, they almost never use any profanity.

As far as the original topic, not getting respect. Besides the Brian De Palma film I mentioned 'Body Double', I also enjoy his other films Dressed to Kill, Blow Out and Carlito's Way.







Most will agree that his film's Scarface and The Untouchables were very good. However I'm not a big fan of his newer stuff such as the Black Dahlia, Mission to Mars, Snake Eyes and Bonfire of the Vanities.
