Like I said, if he runs a 4.7 or below at his length and weight, I'll be impressed. I expect a 4.75 to a 4.85 in reality. Frankly, I don't give a shit about the 40 anyway. I'm more interested in the agility drills, particularly for guys like the linebackers. They only guys who ever come close to ever going in a straight line on the football field are receivers and defensive backs. The 40 at the combine is very misleading anyway as it's easy to train for and it doesn't translate to the field in pads. (Perfect example recently is Brandon Flowers. If the guy runs two tenths of a second faster, he's a mid-first round pick. I mean, really? Two-tenths of a second? It's not shit, and doesn't take into account instinct, hip and foot speed, etc.)
