Still think you should give The Melting Pot a try. It's definitely different, and you really can do it without the main courses. For two people, a cheese fondue is $15, and a chocolate fondue is $15. Reasonable.

On the other hand, my wife and I finally got to try the raved-about Red Robin that was opened next to Gillette Stadium in Foxboro. Two words: epic suck. Way overpriced, nothing special about any of it. The milkshakes were blah, the queso appetizer downright inedibly bad, her burger was your average pressed-patty with little taste, and my "salmon burger" was three small pieces of grilled salmon (nothing special about them). All that for a "mere" $40. Could've went to Johnny Rockets at half the price--and IMO Johnny Rocket's ain't that good, either.
