I don't look at it that way Hamas.
The way I see it, to me, production is what matters in this league. If a guy produces, then I fail to see an issue. Sorry but my mind is fixated on the bottomline.
Chambers WAS that last year, and he did it in a limited amount of time. Which is what impressed me the most, that, and his ability to adapt to the offense very quickly. He brought something to this offense as Mr. Flopnuts mentioned earlier. If he can produce and know his role in the offense, then yeah Id consider that a good signing regardless of his age now. I think WR is a position guys can play into their mid 30's since there is less poundage and tear on the body as opposed to other positions. Mind you, I also think the way they condition themselves also makes a difference in determining how long they can play and how they perform.
And I think thats a big reason why Thomas Jones is so durable and playing at a higher level than he ever has in his career, and the guy is 31! which is amazing to me. Not to mention also he had his best season last year.
