A well written, access gaining argument no doubt, but it is still far too early to crusade in favor of or crucify this new regime. What happens in the coming years will determine the actual ideals of the developing organization. I do agree that creating the perception of tight pockets will only hurt us in the long run, a la the Bidwells and their struggles to court free agents (once your organization is labeled as cheap, players and free agents will subconsciously build barriers). All that said I only have access to controlled media outlets, and I am as of yet unimpressed with our tenacity. Why on earth we would not extend some feelers to a player like Antrel Rolle is beyond me...
