I ****ing love my Macbook Pro. I don't know that I could ever go back to using Windows exclusively ever again.
But, I hate the way the iPod/iPhone/iPad architecture is headed. I'm note a DRM stoner by any means - I pay for my music, TV shows, and movies. But I hate the closed set up of new Apple products. With the iPod/iPhone, I can somewhat accept it. But as you get closer to a computer application, that's a no go for me. I want to be able to go to a third party and say, "hey, I like that browser more than the one I have. Let's try it out.", without worrying about whether Apple declares it usable.
On my Macbook, I'm able to use alpha, beta, or pro software from anyone that wishes to develop. I'm so tempted to buy, but I'm going to let the technology mature and see what competitors come out with.
