But they weren't, not at all.

Page, Pollard, Hali and Bowe are all NFL starters. And he was drafting middle/back in those 2 drafts.

To get 4 bona-fide NFL starters in 2 drafts is, at worst, average. It's pretty acceptable when you're working at the back 1/2 of the draft, in fact. And Croyle is damn talented. While it hasn't worked out aces, that pick was a good one as well.

Tank Tyler in the 3rd is a decent pick, he's a solid under-tackle in a 4-3 and came with the 82nd pick, that's pretty decent.

And Herb Taylor is a guy that should be starting but isn't because our HC is a moron.

Add in his 3rd draft and it's unmistakeable -- Herm Edwards put together 3 consecutive drafts ranging anywhere from solid to spectacular.

The man couldn't coach a championship team in NFL Europe, but give credit where it's due. He was a very good drafter.
