However, talking over to a friend of mine, he mentioned that having Berry and a cover guy in Flowers, this would be a perfect place for Mays to be that type of a enforcer player, as you mentioned.
Mays, while still needs work, no doubt, does has the speed to play, and is a enforcer type of a player that I think KC really needs. It'd be nice to have an enforcer, to give the idea of other teams being scared to cross the middle.
Now, I understand that it would be hard to comprehend having two safeties in the top 2 picks, but there is logic behind it, if people were to think about it for a bit.

The appeal to me, Mr. Coach, is the notion of having the secondary set long-term with high-quality, solid, young players who get the joke.
It puts you in a comfort zone that's hard to beat ... allowing you to focus on other positional groups. It gives you a clearer focus in future drafts, free agency, trade opportunities, the works, really. I'm warming up to the idea a lot. Toasty-like.
