I disagree with the Best selection.
He's a good player, just like Pettigrew was, but at some point, you have to get a left tackle to protect Matt Stafford.
Charles Brown, Saffold, or Bruce Campbell would have all been superior selections, and they weren't reaches.
I think New England really cocked up their draft. Trading down is, for the most part, overrated unless you are getting 1sts or 2nds at some point, or a third that year. The Patriots have far fewer holes than draft picks and a lack of impact players on their defense, and when it came time for their selection, I think they took the 5th or 6th best CB in the draft.
I think that Belichick has become so used to trading down that he's oblivious to the value that is staring him right in the face.
