I think Denver is honestly the best possible situation for Tebow. I know we all like to mock McFistpump but Kyle Neckbeard was a below-average QB at best in Chicago; the only reason he was thought to be a viable option is because he wasn't nearly the ****-up that Rex Grossman was, and the Bears were in an 'Any port in a storm' scenario. In Denver, while Orton wasn't exactly Drew Brees, he wasn't exactly a horrifically awful QB either. Josh McDaniels knows how to coach that position, for all his other questionable moves as a HC. I don't think he'll rush Tebow into action, and I think no other player on Denver's roster is going to have as much coaching and help as Tebow will.
Time will tell of course, but right now, I'd say the chances of Tebow being an NFL success, or at the very least, not an NFL failure, are the greatest in Denver. If he were to have gone to Buffalo or Jacksonville, I'd wager he'd be playing QB for the Winnipeg Blue Bombers in two years.
