Harris will be on the left side, Beadles on the right, although, I wouldn't be surprised to see Beadles get a shot at left tackle depending upon the time frame in which Clady can return. Beadles is more of a power blocker than Clady and might actually be a better fit for the type of offense that McDaniels is currently running, which is a hybrid zone power set. It's similar to the offense that Beadles played left tackle for at Utah where he was an All-American, Walter Camp and first team All Conference.

Clady was a perfect fit for the zone block scheme that Shanahan employed, but I wondered if he was going to have the same level of success under the scheme that McDaniels was going to use. Beadles could have the same type of success as a rookie that Clady had. It really all comes down to the type of system as it relates to the type of player. I give McDaniels credit for at least doing the research and drafting guys who will fit his system better. (I also think that Pioli and Haley did a much better job of that this year in the draft than they did in '09. Time will tell, but it looks like the Chiefs got guys who will be able to contribute right away. I also think Jackson will end up as a good player, especially if he can get some decent NT production next to him, but other than him and Succop, I wasn't thrilled about the '09 draft.)
