I would imagine it's really not that hard, especially for a woman with a low BMR, to exceed her daily allotment of calories just by eating a lot at dinner. If you have a big plate of spaghetti and go back for seconds and eat a few slices of garlic bread, that could easily be 1000 calories or more.
I know a guy who eats a sensible breakfast and lunch but last time I checked but he's massively overweight because he just eats and eats and eats at dinner.
Disregard if you're eating a sensible dinner.
