Like GC said, apples should accomplish the same thing, but there's something about that vending machine junk or the soda that worms its way into my psyche as a reward or compensation for a tough day.

]I had an apple, a pear and a salad before I ran out. It didn't do anything for me. Like I said, it's a psychological. Fruit isn't a comfort food for me, at least not yet. It's something I eat because I have to, rather than want to, so I don't get a whole lot of joy out of it.
I think I forgot to mention that I got a soda as well, some new Mountain Dew with lime. I only drank 3 or 4 swallows of it, though. Not that it was bad, I just didn't want it once I had it. I thought I'd need the caffeine, but as it turns out I didn't.
