That's what I've always done, anaerobic (now there's a word you don't hear often) and then aerobic. Running first usually just led to bad workouts; out of gas before I even started. Even now I do all the boring bullshit before I run, whether it's push-ups or sit-ups or curls or extensions or lateral raises or whatever else I feel like doing that day. The few times I've done pushups after running this year, I've always been noticeably weaker than when I do it the other way around, or when it's not a running day.
